Where as AFCAT is an exam conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Air Force. It is just like NDA it is also conducted twice a year and the candidates those who are interested in Air Force they apply for the post. The recruitment here are done on various branches like Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch.
To apply for the exam candidates must meet the requirement of the job that they must have a graduation degree passed with 60 % marks or passed 12th with 60% marks from streams. Only unmarried candidates are applicable to apply in Air Force. The procedure for getting in Air Force through AFCAT is very simple they need to give written exam for the knowledge in Engineer. After clearing the AFCAT Written exam candidates needs to appear for the Screening test after that there are two steps more they are Psychological test, Group test, Medical Test and Interview and after that only those candidates who are applying for the Flying Branch are need to give the Computerized Pilot Selection System) and/ or PABT.
